SAP calculations – These are required on any domestic new build project and it is always the best practice to have this done prior to starting any work on the project. This enables us to make sure you have the correct building specification, insulation and heating system installed to comply with current building regulations.
Extensions with excessive glazing – We will produce a report for your local building control to display compliance of the 25% overglazing within the new extension and keeping the original glazing design.
Barn conversions – We always work with the client to achieve L1B building regulation compliance and try to keep as much of the original character of the existing dwelling as possible.
Office conversions – We work closely with developers who are converting an office or large house for residential apartments or HMO use to get the best use of the space available.
Air pressure and acoustic testing – This is a requirement when a new build property is near completion to meet set limits within the SAP calculation to comply with current building regulations.
Legionella risk assessments – Landlords have duties under Health and Safety law to assess the risk of Legionella and take appropriate action on domestic and commercial properties. A risk assessment will highlight any issues present, as well as appropriate control measures for controlling the growth of Legionella bacteria.
